Completed Works: Bathroom Refurbishment 1

We're definitely feeling the change in season, and it's getting harder and harder to dodge the showers during outside jobs so when we get the chance to work inside we'll seize it! Carl and Chris have just completed a small bathroom refurbishment for a customer who wanted to keep a similar look to the space, but just give it a fresher, more modern look.

In smaller spaces, use of dark colours and too much going on can make it feel a little claustrophobic. We have seen some amazing small bathrooms with patterns, dark tones and accessories but they've been balanced perfectly to ensure the space feels cosy and not too tiny; however here our customer wanted the airy, open feeling.


The bathroom was already light but just needed modernising. There was some damp and mould showing through, and the space was looking a little tired. Carl and Chris took everything out, stripping it right back so they could start again. They lined the walls ready for the new tiles that the customer had provided, and fitted and plumbed in the new suite.




Underneath the sink they fitted a small vanity which is ideal for holding the necessities without using up precious space with wall cabinets or shelves. The towel rail was replaced with another in anthracite, which, combined with the grey-blue of the painted walls, adds a small touch of colour to an otherwise completely white room.



We love that final touch of the anchor print just to tie it all in and add a reminder that the sea isn't too far away! It's bright and fresh and inviting.
