A Day in the Life of a Handyman Office Dog

You may already have seen Mags featuring on some of our social media posts, but if you haven't, here's a little introduction to her. She kindly agreed last year to come in and supervise the office whilst her human, Martin, goes out to work and has been a key member of our team since then. Read below for an insight into her daily routine!

9am - trained the girls in the office to have a nutritious breakfast ready for me to gain energy for the day. Spend about five minutes subsequently cleaning up.

9:05 - 11:30am - move around the office, warming areas of the floor to ensure even coverage and efficient insulation for the heaters.

11:30am - quick walk outside to get Emmy or Danni to stretch their legs and have a breath of fresh air. Investigate the area round the unit for any signs of strangers and establish territorial boundaries.

11:40am - 12:30pm - occasionally patrol the office, screen delivery drivers, maintain floor warmth.

12:30pm - lunchtime for everyone in the office. Offer regular food sampling to ensure their lunches are up to standard but usually they turn it down. Back to floor warming.

1:00 - 1:15pm - supervise the team working in the unit. The top of the stairs provides an excellent viewpoint for the whole of the workshop and is in hearing distance of the office in case any biscuits are offered.

1:15 - 2:00pm - return to floor warming.

2:00pm - another walk outside, this time to check the security of the team vehicles.

2:10 - 4:00pm - floor warming.

4:00 - 5:00pm - greet the teams as they return from their jobs and check they are not smuggling contraband food I can confiscate. They never are.
